Who are we?

Integrative Solutions Group is a design consultancy operating out of office in Kanata/Ottawa, Canada. 

ISG consists of two managing principals, Woytek Kujawski and Gary Martin, a small support staff, when needed, and a large network of independent design and construction professionals who can be assembled into customized teams for specific projects.
Our just-in-time consultants keep our overhead and your costs low.

Woytek Kujawski, M.Arch, RAIC, LEED AP

Woytek is an architect with four decades of experience on three continents, with half of that time given to high-performance residential and commercial buildings.  Woytek was a Senior Researcher for 10 years (until January, 2015) at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, where his files included sustainable multi-unit residential buildings, Low Impact Housing, and the EQuilibrium Housing and EQuilibrium Communities Initiatives. 

Woytek currently teaches Building Design Processes and Eco-Design within Green Architecture at Algonquin College in Ottawa.  He has also served on the Board of Directors of the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment. When not working, Woytek loves skiing, kayaking and sky-diving with friends.

Gary Martin, PhD

Gary Martin

Gary  is an urban sustainability expert with an extensive background in residential contracting, university research and teaching, education program evaluation, and community service in Canada and abroad.  Gary deliberately bridges public, nonprofit, academic and private industry networks to raise awareness of urban environmental issues in all sectors.

Gary’s main research interest is sustainability and the residential development industry in Canada, which he studied from the inside and outside for his doctoral thesis (2013) and subsequent postdoctoral research.  Gary embraces  collaborative practices in ISG. Outside of ISG, Gary loves cycling and is, by his own account, an accomplished amateur artist.
